Berberine is a natural alkaloid with therapeutic use in metabolic syndrome, Type 2 diabetes and dyslipidemia. 

Berberine is present in several plants such as Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis), Oregon grape (Berberis aquifolium), Barberry (Berberis vulgaris) and Chinese Goldthread (Coptis chinensis).

Recommended dose

Adults take 2 capsule 1 time per day (preferably take on an empty stomach).

Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have an allergy to seafood, do not use this product. If you have hypoglycemia, hypo-tension or if you take medicines for diabetes, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. If you have leukopenia, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. If you have cardiovascular disease, a liver or kidney disorder or diabetes, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. May cause gastrointestinal discomfort such as constipation, vomiting, abdominal pain or diarrhea, in which case discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner.

Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children. Keep sealed, store in a cool, dry place at 15–25ºC.
